Ladies and gentlemen, in our fourth post for our series of the “Royal Line of Succession”, I present the next in line to the throne – Princess Beatrice & Princess with their families. It is important to note that if any of the previous families in the line of succession have more children, they will come before the princesses in the line of succession.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, two of the most fascinating young royals of our time. They are the daughters of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York, and are granddaughters of Queen Elizabeth II. And like any good story, they have love, romance, and family to talk about. So let's take a closer look at these two royal sisters and their relationships with their husbands and children.
First, let's start with Princess Beatrice, who is ninth in line to the throne. This lovely princess married her longtime partner, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, in a beautiful ceremony in July 2020. Edoardo, who goes by the nickname "Edo," is a property developer and the son of British-Italian count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi. The two of them had been dating for a year before they got engaged, and Edo proposed during a romantic weekend in Italy.
Beatrice and Edo's wedding was a more intimate affair than most royal weddings, owing to the pandemic. However, it was still a stunning event, with Beatrice wearing a beautiful vintage dress loaned to her by her grandmother, the Queen. The couple exchanged vows at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor, in front of a small group of family and friends, including Beatrice's parents and sister.
Since their wedding, the couple has settled into married life, with Beatrice becoming a stepmother to Edo’s young son, Christopher Woolf, known as Wolfie. Wolfie is from Edo’s previous relationship with American architect and designer, Dara Huang. Beatrice and Edo welcomed a baby girl named Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi on September 18 2021 at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in Chelsea, London. She is tenth in line to the throne and they haven’t shared a photo of her yet.
Now, let's turn our attention to Princess Eugenie, who is eleventh in line to the throne. She married her longtime partner, Jack Brooksbank, in October 2018. Jack is a brand ambassador for Casamigos Tequila, which was co-founded by George Clooney. Eugenie and Jack had been dating for several years before they got engaged, and Jack proposed while the two of them were on vacation in Nicaragua.
Eugenie and Jack's wedding was a grand affair, held at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, the same venue where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married the previous May. Eugenie looked stunning in a gown designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, which showed off the scar from the spinal surgery she had as a child.
Since their wedding, Eugenie and Jack have welcomed a son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. August was born on February 9, 2021, and is currently the twelfth in line to the throne. Eugenie shared the news of her son's birth on Instagram, saying, "We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank." She also shared a series of adorable photos of the newborn, as well as a sweet message to her husband: "Thank you for so much love and support during this incredible time." Eugenie and Jack announced in January they are expecting another baby in the summer of 2023!
In conclusion, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are two royal sisters who have found love and happiness in their own unique ways. Both of their weddings were beautiful and special, and their husbands seem to be a great fit for them. It will be exciting to see what the future holds for these two wonderful royal families.
